Summer is officially over and school is back so we are now back to having a full band. Well sorta šŸ™‚ We had a 3 piece this week because we still had guys out, though it went very well this morning. Meaning we synced up well and there was a nice connection with the congregation. It was myself on acoustic and vocals, Chad K on electric guitar, Chad C on drums, Nikki (the wife) on Vocals and BGV’s, and Michelle Holseth on BGV’s. Highlights for me this morning were “Lord of Lords” Nikki lead us beautifuly in this great song! Powerful. And “The Solid Rock” It was just that. I love the power in this version. I think Charlie Halls version nails the emotion and power of this prayer. I just love singing and playing this song to God. The band guys sounded great on all the songs and it was just nice to sing with Nikki again. We havn’t sang with each other much over the past few months because she is helping lead Kids Etc. our 10:30 children’s worship gathering for K-3rd grade. The other thing I really enjoyed was the prayer time today. Never seen so many people involved in prayer together @ Vine. It was great to see and be a part of.
