Today was a great day period. I had some amazing people helping set up the band equipment and that was a such a blessing. Then sound check/rehearsal went very well. No new songs today but we brought back “Behold the Lamb of God” which you used to do allot but had not sang it in at least a year. That was a powerful song today. Loved it. I also really enjoyed “Our Great God” which our people have taken so well to. I love that song and I love hearing our church family sing like they did today! The message today was great. I loved the new tag line Kenny gave our church. Vine/FPC “A place where good things happen to bad people” that was pretty funny. The message about reality of life not being about what Jesus would do. But about what Jesus has already done. Grace poured over the church today. It was so what we needed to hear. Thank you Sir Kenny for sharing from Gods word this morning. After “Behold the Lamb of God” we all took communion together in clusters of 25 or so and then all together we sang the first verse of “Amazing Grace” a cappella as our closing. It was such a great moment together as a community of broken people falling more in love with Jesus. A moment I won’t soon forget. Thanks pastor Craig for leading that. Anyways today for me was totally the opposite from last week where I was just a mess.
